Why does my Kontuly report say "No transactions for this period"?
A Kontuly report that says "No transactions for this period." is almost always looking at the wrong dates. Check the Period (or From and To) or the As at date: reports open on the current financial year, or today.
Checks in order
- The period. For last year's figures, choose Last financial year in Period, or End of last year for As at reports.
- The financial year. If the quarters or years look wrong, check Financial year-end month and Day in Settings under Financial year & region.
- Drafts. Draft invoices and bills post nothing, so they're not in any report. Approve them.
- Uncoded bank lines. Bank lines waiting in the review list aren't in your books yet. Code or match them in Banking.
- Only accounts with activity are listed. An account with nothing in the period doesn't appear on the Profit and Loss.
A report that should have figures
- The Budget vs Actual report shows nothing for a budget that's been deleted; choose another under Budget.
- Profit and Loss by Tracking shows nothing for a deleted category; choose another under Tracking category.
