How do I enter my Kontuly licence key?
In Kontuly, click Enter licence key in the strip at the top of the screen or in Settings → Licence, then type the email address and the 16-character key from your licence email and click Activate. It needs an internet connection.
- Click Enter licence key. It's in the strip at the top of every screen during the trial, and in Settings → Licence. On a new install, click Already bought a licence? Enter your key on the first screen.
- Type the email address the licence was issued to.
- Paste or type the Licence key. Capital letters, spaces and dashes don't matter, so paste it however it was copied.
- Click Activate. You'll see Licence activated.
It says the email address and key don't match
The key only works with the email address it was issued to. Check both against your licence email.
It says the licence is already active on another computer
A licence works on one computer at a time. On the old computer, open Settings → Licence and click Deactivate this computer. If that computer is gone, contact support@phenomcentral.com and we'll free the licence. See How do I move Kontuly to a new computer?
During the beta
Licences aren't on sale during the beta. Testers are given a key; there are no buy, upgrade or renew buttons. See Is Kontuly in beta?
