How does the Kontuly free trial work?
Kontuly starts with a free 30-day trial of every feature, for up to 5 businesses. Enter your name, email and business name the first time the app opens; after that it works offline, and your books stay on your computer.
- Open Kontuly for the first time.
- Fill in the form: First name, Last name, Email and Business name.
- Choose whether to get emails. The box Email me tips and offers about getting the most from the app starts unticked. You can use the trial either way.
- Click Start my free trial. You need an internet connection for this step only.
Kontuly then takes you to set up your business. A strip at the top of every screen shows how many days are left, with Enter licence key.
Can I start the trial again?
No. There's one free trial per computer. If you reinstall Kontuly on the same computer, signing up again picks up the trial you already have.
What happens when it ends?
Your books become read-only: you can open, report on, export and back them up, but not change them. Nothing is deleted. See What happens when my Kontuly trial ends?
I'm a beta tester with a licence key
Click Already bought a licence? Enter your key instead of filling in the form. During the beta, licences aren't on sale; testers are given a key. See How do I enter my Kontuly licence key?
Why can't I start the trial?
Check your internet connection and try again. If this computer has already used its trial, enter a licence key instead.
