Which Kontuly licences are there?
Kontuly has four licences, and every one includes every feature on one computer. They differ only in how many businesses you can keep. During the beta, licences aren't on sale: testers are given a key, and prices will be announced at launch.

Solo covers two businesses so you can keep the sample business or a scratch business to try things in, next to your real books. The free trial allows up to 5.
Is it a subscription?
No. A licence is bought once and keeps working for as long as you like. It includes every new version released in its first 12 months. Settings → Licence shows the date.
When licences go on sale, a newer version released after your updates have ended will be offered as an optional renewal: another 12 months of updates. During the beta there's nothing to renew. See How do I update Kontuly?
Why only one computer?
Your books are a file on your computer, not online, so working on two computers would give you two separate sets of books that can't be joined back together. To change computers, deactivate the old one; see How do I move Kontuly to a new computer?
What if I have more businesses than my licence covers?
They all stay on your computer and open, but only as many as the licence covers can be changed. See Why is one of my businesses read-only?
